Yes, we have TURTLES!

In line with Turtle Month, Winton Wetlands has REAL LIVE TURTLES on hand this coming Saturday 25 November 2025 as part of the public open day that’s happening to close our week-long our Wild Week wetland celebration festival.

The chance to see live turtles up-close and personal is thanks to our friends at Turtles Australia Inc and the One Million Turtles citizen science conservation campaign: 1 Million Turtles Community Conservation Program

Along with the turtles, there will be other great displays, walks, talks and other activities.
