Road Closures

With recent heavy rains and more on the way, road conditions at Winton Wetlands can change fast.

There’s always a possibility of road closures in the event of flooding or severe road damage.

At the time of posting, Boggy Bridge Road is closed. Ashmeads Road and Humphries Lane are open.

Updates will be given as needed on our website, on Facebook and on Instagram.

But please note: Proceed with great care on any road or track of the wetlands, even if open.

Conditions can change quickly during periods of heavy rainfall and/or storms.

Winton Wetlands Committee of Management recognises that the site lies within the traditional lands of the Yorta Yorta people, the original owners of Country. We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands and waterways and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.
