It’s fish survey time, a regular exercise to check on the quantities, diversity and health of fish in various ponds across the wetlands.
Shown here (L to R) are the intrepid Dr Lisa Farnsworth, Clair Birch and leading aquatic ecologist Lance Lloyd dressed to the nines this week in their best waders and boots – with Lance finding there’s more than a yabbie or two also happily enjoying life at the wetlands!
