Michelle Casanova will present on some of the lessons learned elsewhere on wetland restoration. This includes development of a realistic and attainable goal, recognition of the constraints and legacy concerns, provision of appropriate resources (hydrological, social, financial) and ongoing management with strategic goals and targeted actions.

Michelle Casanova is a botanist who lives on a farm in western Victoria. She is involved in wetland restoration on her farm, as part of a landcare group, as a director of the local CMA, as a member of ESAP, and as convenor of the Victorian Scientific Advisory Committee.
