Celebrating Women in Science at Winton Wetlands

Tuesday 11th February marks the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and we’re proud to showcase some of the incredible women on our restoration science team!
Meet Miranda Mills, our recently appointed Graduate Field Ecologist, and Carla Bömeke, our intern from Germany. Working closely with our Field Ecologist Sarah Way, their work is vital in monitoring and restoring the wetland ecosystem, and as you can see, it’s hands-on (and sometimes a little muddy)!
Science is at the heart of our restoration efforts, and we’re proud to have these passionate women leading the way. Here’s to all the women in science making a difference every day.👩‍🔬💚

Miranda… fully committed to the job, even when it means getting stuck in the mud!
